if you're drafting for two weeks it's not actually a casual 'hey this thing stuck with me' anymore. that's fine. just acknowledge to yourself that this matters to you and then send it as is. trying to make it look casual is what's making it weird.

send it before bed. you wake up and it's already done. that's the only way these things ever leave the drafts folder, in my experience
